Yoruba Nation Agitation: Popular Comedian, Mr Macaroni Donates N500,000 To Late Jumoke Oyeleke’s Family

Popular Nigerian comedian, Debo Adebayo, commonly known as Mr Macaroni, has doled out the sum of N500,000 to the family of late Jumoke Oyeleke, who was killed at the Yoruba Nation rally in Ojota, Lagos State, few weeks ago.
Recall that a 25year old girl, identified simply as Jumoke was killed by bullets allegedly fired by a security operative dispersing Yoruba Nation protesters at Ojota. It was reported that the teenager was displaying drinks at a shop when a stray bullet hit her and ripped open her stomach, killing her on the spot.
Following the incident, Mr Macaroni disclosed via his Twitter page that he visited the family of the deceased to support and pay his condolences.
According to the comedian, he wrote: “I visited the family of the late Jumoke Oyeleke; the 25yrs old that was killed during the Yoruba Nation Rally. They need all the support they can get right now. I have donated N500,000 today and I plead with all those who can to kindly support the family.”
“Also important to note is that Jumoke (the deceased) was the breadwinner of the house. She was a sales attendant at a beverage store and she used the little she made to sustain her mother and 3 siblings. As it is, the family has nothing.”
The Comedian then shared a fundraising link for the family, calling on members of the public to donate.
