Linkage Assurance Plc, has released its unaudited financial statements for the period ended 30 June 2021 with 32% growth in gross premium written to N6.952 billion from N5.259 billion in Q2 2020.
However, the company suffered an underwriting loss of N1billion as a result of increased claims expenses which brought about loss after taxation of N2.09 billion from a profit of N550.437 million in Q2 2020.(480)
Loss before tax stood at N2 billion in Q2 2021 against a profit of N915million in the prior period.
