LASG Drops Murder Case Against Yoruba Nation Protester

Lagos State Government has dropped the murder case against detained Yoruba Nation Protester, Tajudeen Bakare aka Oba Ogboni.
He has also been released from the custody of the police.
Bakare was the only one among the 48 detained Yoruba Nation protesters who was not granted bail by a Magistrates’ Court in Yaba as he was being accused by the Lagos State Police Command the murder of 25-year-old sales attendant, Jumoke Oyeleke on Saturday 3rd July, 2021.
It was, however, learnt that the case was transferred to the High Court and the advice of the office of the Director of the Public Prosecution was sought.
The state through the DPP established that the case against the suspect could not be established so, he had to be released from custody.
