LASG Drops Murder Case Against Yoruba Nation Protester

 

Lagos State Government  has dropped the murder case against  detained Yoruba Nation Protester, Tajudeen Bakare aka Oba Ogboni.

He has also been released from the custody of the police.

Bakare was  the only  one among  the 48 detained Yoruba Nation protesters   who was not granted bail by a Magistrates’ Court in Yaba as he was being accused by  the Lagos State Police Command the murder of 25-year-old sales attendant, Jumoke Oyeleke  on Saturday 3rd July, 2021.

It was, however, learnt that the case was transferred to the High Court and the advice of the  office of the Director of the Public Prosecution was sought.

The state through the DPP established that the case against the suspect could not be established so, he had to be released from custody.
