Lagos Commuters Stranded As Commercial Bus Drivers Commence Seven Day Strike

Some commuters were stranded in Lagos State as commercial bus drivers under the aegis of the Joint Drivers Welfare Association of Nigeria (JDWAN) have commenced 7 day boycott of Lagos roads over extortion by the State’s motor parks management committee.

Areas visited by NewsBeatng, some commuters were sighted trekking while few others patronising commercial motorcycles operators.

In Ojo-Alaba, Iyana Iba, Ijanikin and Agbara axis of Lagos, NewsBeatng sighted the striking commercial drivers enforcing the strike action.

NewsBeatng recalled that the drivers notified the people of their intention to commence the seven day warning strike on Monday (Today).
