Lagos Police Commissioner, Odumosu Orders 24hrs ‘Stop And Search’ Operation

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu has ordered a 24-hour “stop and search” operation  and vehicular patrol of  Lekki/Ajah area.

According to  a statement signed by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu, the development is to arrest the wave of robberies in the area.

Already there are reports of  armed robbers disguising  as beggars to rob residents of Lekki/Ajah.

The police  boss  also assured that the Command was working in tandem with the State Ministry of Youth and Social Development as well as other relevant authorities to fight crime.
