Tanker Collides With Tripper Truck On Lekki-Epe Expressway In Lagos

A Mack tanker with a yet  fully laden with 45,000 litres of  Petroleum Motor Spirit and a tipper truck have collided  on Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.

The tanker which was reportedly hit by the tipper truck, spilled its contents was at the time about to enter an NNPC Filling Station it was meant to service.

“The incident which occured at Majek Bus Stop, inward Sangotedo, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos is currently being averted from danger.

“The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is mitigating the situation with the deployment of Chemical Foam Compound to neutralize the Petrol from causing a secondary incident.

“Motorists and passersby are hereby advised to tread with utmost caution around this corridor until evacuation is completed,” says the Lagos State Fire Service in a statement.
