GTCO Experiences 15.77% Dip In Profit In H1 2021

…Proposes Payment Of 30kobo Interim Dividend Per Ordinary Share

Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO), Africa’s leading bank has released its group’s operating results for the Half year ended June 30, 2021 with 15.77% drop in profit to N79.415 billion from N94.271 billion in H1 2020.

Gross earnings also dropped during the half year to N207.914 billion from N225.139 billion in H1 2020.

Meanwhile the directors proposed the payment of 30 kobo interim dividend per ordinary share on the issued capital of 29,431,179,224 Ordinary Shares of 50 Kobo.

The interim dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear in the register as at September 27, 2021 on October 12, 2021.
