Hamzat, Obasa To Speak On Executive/Legislative Relations In Lagos

 

The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat and the Speaker of the State’s House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Mudashiru Obasa would be speaking on the harmonious working relationship between the arms of government in the state on March 23rd.

This was made known by the Executive Director of Globestrides Media, Mr Yusuf Adeoye, at a press conference held in Ikeja, Lagos.

According to Adeoye, the 4th educational and social interactive programme will be an eye-opener and would reveal the level of cooperation in Lagos state government since the administration of the former governor and All Progressive Congress APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu till date.

He added that Hamzat was chosen as Guest Speaker because of his years of experience in the executive arm having served as Special Adviser and Commissioner in different times, adding that he would be speaking on ‘ Imperatives of Harmonious Working Relationship Between Arms of Government, A Key Ingredient in The Success of Lagos State Government. With Focus on 2023 General Election’ .

“The Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa is the Keynote Speaker. He will be sharing his vast experience as legislator working to aid and ease the work of the executive in Lagos State, which has led to the tremendous infrastructural development and cordial working atmosphere in the State over the years. Awards will be given to distinguished prominent Nigerians as well”, said Adeoye.

” There is need for Nigerians to know and understand why the arms of government in Lagos have been experiencing smooth and cordial relationships since 1999. This harmonious relationship has helped the delivery of dividends of democracy and good governance to the people of the state”, said Adeoye.
