Attack On Egan Oriomi Town, Unacceptable – Adediran
The Lagos PDP Governorship Candidate in the 2023 elections, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has expressed shock and sadness over the recent invasion of Egan Oriomi town in Otto Awori Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.
Adediran registered his displeasure in a statement on Sunday, signed by a spokesperson, Gbenga Ogunleye.
Reports had disclosed that the Egan Oriomi Community, a part of Elete Kingdom where Adediran’s mother hails from, was attacked by unknown assailants in the early hours of Sunday, resulting in loss of life and significant property damage.
In response, Adediran condemned the incident as a heinous act of violence and terror on a community known for its peace and tranquility.
He urged the security agencies to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators and ensure they face the full force of the law.
Furthermore, Adediran called upon the youths of Elete Kingdom to unite against such acts of terror and to remain vigilant in safeguarding the safety and security of their community.
The 2023 PDP governorship candidate emphasized the importance of solidarity in the face of adversity and encouraged proactive measures to prevent future incidents.
