President of the Senate, Dr Ahmed Lawan has referred the 2022 budget Bill to the Committee On Appropriation, directing it to report back in four weeks.
This occurred after the senate passed for second reading the N16.39trillion 2022 Appropriation Bill on Wednesday.
Lawan also announced an adjournment of the plenary till November 9th, 2021.
This, according to Lawan, will enable heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of the Federal Government to defend their budget estimates for 2022.
