The Chairman, Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area of Alimosho-Lagos state, Mr Lasisi Akinsanya, has promised to make children education as part of his administration’s priorities.
Akinsanya stated this on Monday when he received the Education Secretary (ES), Local Government Education Authority, Mrs. Airat Alamu in his office.
The Council Chairman pledged to touch all primary schools across the council area in terms of infrastructural development, educational materials, and moral growth.
He said he will not betray the trust bestowed on him by the electorate at the last local government election.
In her speech, Alamu pledged her support for the Council helmsman, stressing that whatever needed from her office to backup the Council to bring development to its nursery and primary Schools would be rendered in due course.
She urged teachers and parents to cooperate with the Chairman at all giving time.
