2023: Gbajabiamila Drums Support For Raji’s Re-Election

 

Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt (Hon) Femi Gbajabiamila, has urged Epe Traditional rulers, residents and others to support and vote for Rep. Wale Raji in the forthcoming General Election.

Gbajabiamila disclosed this on Thursday in Epe during the official commissioning and handingover of school projects organised by Hon. Wale Raji, a federal lawmaker, representing Epe Constituency in the House of Representatives.

The Speaker commended the laudable projects done by Rep. Raji in his Constituency.

He urged Epe residents, Traditional rulers and indigenes of Epe to vote Rep. Raji in the forthcoming general election.

Gbajabiamila said that Epe people are used to one term in office by their representatives which is their tradition.

“This idea of one term in office is not a good one and should be discouraged. Any representative that goes to the public office for the first term cannot perform to expectation.

“But, he will do better if given more opportunity’s to serve in the office.

“It is high time Epe people change the narrative and apply common sense in their political sector, so as to get things rightly, ” he said.

Earlier, Hon. Wale Raji, Member, representing Epe Federal Constituency, said that the development was to reposition the face of educational sector in the constituency.

He added that the gesture was burnout of his passion for education, hence, requires the upgrading of the educational facilities across the communities in his constituency.

He mentioned some of the projects which include; a fully equipped ICT centre of 81 capacity at ogunmodede college, 100 bed fully furnished hostel in Epe grammar school, teachers staff quarter at orugbo, a block of six classrooms with furnitures and VIP toilets at Agbowa community grammar school.

Others as; Odomola secondary school, Army high school and a block of six classrooms with furniture in LG school, Noforija, Odo-onara high school, a block of three classrooms with furnitures at LG primary school, oriba.

Also, a block of two classrooms with furniture at community senior academy in Ayandelu-onosa, a block of three classrooms with furniture, borehole and toilet at LG primary school, Aboriji and science laboratory at Igboye in Eredo-Epe Division.

The lawmaker said that his achievement was unprecedented and he would continue to discharge his mandate effectively and efficiently for the betterment of Epe constituency.
