Lagos Denies Appointing Suspended MC Oluomo As Parks Manager

The office of the Lagos State Governor has denied that suspended Chairman of the National Union of Road and Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya alias Oluomo, has been appointed as General Manager of Lagos Transport Parks and Garages Committee.
This was made known in a tweet by Gboyega Akosile in a tweet. The tweet read: “ALERT: Please disregard post(s) claiming that Gov @jidesanwoolu has appointed suspended Chairman of NURTW, MC Oluomo as GM, Lagos Transport Parks and garages committee. There’s no such appointment. The statement issued yesterday by @gbenga_omo, HC info, remains position of Govt”.
Some online news platforms had reported that MC Oluomo who had just been suspended by the national body of the NURTW had got the Lagos State Government appointment. The state government had announced the suspension of all activities of NURTW in Lagos motor parks and garages to douse the tension caused by leadership tussle in the union.
But the news platforms which reported the purported appointment of MC Oluomo had based their report on a claim by his son King West.
He had written on his Instagram handle : “Congratulations boss. Alhaji King Musiliu Akinsanya Ayinde. The GM/MD of Lagos State Transportation Parks and Garages Management Committee. Oye a mori oo”.
