NCC To Host Annual Stakeholders Consultative Forum On Emerging Technologies

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is set to host the annual Stakeholders Consultative Forum on Emerging Technologies, and this year, the focus is “Regulatory Roadmap for IoT Ecosystem in Nigeria”.

The event, which holds at the Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja Lagos, South West, Nigeria on May 9, is one the regulatory strategy of the NCC aimed at getting stakeholders input on all regulatory matters.

The NCC in its preparation to welcome the 5G Network Technology and its accompanying technologies had held similar consultative forum to put in place the necessary infrastructure and interacted with relevant stakeholders and, identified some of the potential frequency bands for 5G deployment in region 1.
