Danbatta To Attend Leadership Excellence And Economic Impact Award Event

 

Nigeria’s Chief telecommunications sector regulator and the Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer(EVC/CEO) of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Umar Garba Danbatta, will be a Special Guest of Honour, at a Leadership Excellence And Economic Impact event slated for Friday April 29, 2022 at Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja, north central, Nigeria.

The theme of the conference is:  Policy, Justice and Global Cooperation For Building Back Better.

The event, organized by the African Leadership Organization and supported by the National Bar Association of the United States, will bring together legislators, executives, legal practitioners, and thinkers to look at how the African Governance system might turn stakeholder concerns into reality.

Other principal participants expected to grace the conference along with the NCC boss, include but are not limited to Heads of States and Governments, High ranking members of the judiciary, Lawmakers, Senior Government Officials and policy leaders and Heads of African Missions and diplomats.

The Conference shall examine the role of the parliament, judiciary and other agencies of government in promoting fast-tracked sustainable economic development in Africa, after the pandemic induced disruption. It shall also highlight the interplay of the law and lawmakers in promoting good governance in Africa, while also evolving solutions to some of the continent’s manifold challenges.

A presentation of the Leadership Excellence & Economic Impact Award by the National Bar Association and the United States National Black Caucus of State Legislators shall be made at the conference .
