Malami Backs Out Of Kebbi Guber Race


Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has dropped his ambition of contesting the governorship of Kebbi State, come 2023, NewsBeatng gathered.

It was reliably gathered that he backed out to keep his ministerial job as Nigeria’s Chief law officer.

A source close to him said ” Oga has withdrawn from the Kebbi governorship race. He has not resigned as the Attorney General of the Federation”.

NewsBeatng reports that Malami was among the out-going ministers President Muhammadu Buhari held a valedictory session with on Friday at the Aso Rock Villa.
