NCC Charges Dambatta Community On Protection Of Telecoms Infrastructure

The Nigerian Communication Commission NCC has charged Dambatta community to be extra vigilant to ensuring the protection of Telecom Infrastructure to enhance effective service delivery in the telecommunication industry.

The Executive Vice Chairman of the Commission, Professor Umar Danbatta gave the charge during a Village Square dialogue on telecom consumer conversation held at Danbatta local government area of Kano state.

Danbatta represented by the Director , Technical Standards and Network Integrity Department Engineer Bako Wakil said the Nigerian Communication Commission is working tirelessly in ensuring that quality telecom services is provided to the consumers of telecom services across the country.

He said the protection of telecom infrastructure is a responsibility of all Nigerians, hence the public should not hesitate in reporting any suspicious act of vandalising telecom infrastructure.

Wakil maintained that without efficient telecom infrastructure, the needed telecom service will not be provided to consumers hence Nigerians should collaborate with the Commission in ensuring the protection of telecom infrastructure.

“Protection of Telecom infrastructure is a collective responsibility, by protecting infrastructure it means we are protecting every service offered on the network, let us work together to protect our network.”

In his remark the District Head of Danbatta, Sarkin Ban Bichi Alhaji Isyaku Wada waziri Applauded the efforts of NCC for organising the sensitization program.

He assured the commission that Dambatta community would support the commission in the protection of telecom infrastructure in the local government area.
