President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Godwin Emefiele at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
NewsBeatng reports that Emefiele saw the President privately for the third time since the cash crisis escalated across the country.
It was gathered that he did not speak to journalists as he left the Villa.
However, the reason for the meeting was unknown as of the time of filing this report.
A source in the Villa said that the CBN Governor may have come to brief the President on the strategies put in place by the Apex bank on how to resolve the lingering Naira scarcity.
