The Chairman, Senate Committee on Industries, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, has congratulated Abiola Okanlawon Olowu on his appointment as Special Adviser on Commerce and Industries to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state.
In a statement issued in Lagos on Thursday by Senator Abiru’s media aide, Mr Enitan Olukotun, the Senator described Olowu as an experienced technocrat and seasoned administrator who would add great value to the administration of Sanwo-Olu.
Abiru commended Sanwo-Olu for appointing Olowu who was said to have paid his dues in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Lagos as a formidable force in Ibeju-Lekki and Lagos East Senatorial District at large.
“OKL, I congratulate you on this well-deserved appointment as Special Adviser on Commerce and Industries to Governor Sanwo-Olu. His Excellency has made the best choice. I have no doubt that your wealth of experience as an accomplished retired bureaucrat will be highly valuable in this assignment.
“I pray that Almighty God guides you as you selflessly serve our dear state. Again, Congratulations!”, Abiru said.
