Lagos PDP Congratulates Adeleke, Urges Him To Extol Good Governance In Osun

 

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state, has congratulated Sen. Ademola Adeleke on his swearing-in as the governor of Osun state.

Lagos PDP said that Adeleke’s victory at the polls was an evidence of his past achievements in his political career, urging him to extol good governance in the state.

The party, in a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Mr Hakeem Amode, on Sunday said that Adeleke’s swearing-in bestow on him greater responsibilities to drive the party’s developmental agenda.

The statement read in part “The leadership of the Lagos state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and our Gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran-JANDOR and members of our party heartily rejoice with His Excellency Mr. Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke on your election and swearing in as the Executive Governor of Osun state, the state of the living spring.

” We believe without any doubt that your victory at the election is an evidence of your past achievements in your political career and we urge you to extol the good governance synonymous with our party for the benefit of the people of Osun.

” It is our believe that your swearing in today has therefore bestowed on you greater responsibilities to drive our party’s development agenda as we brace to recover, revive and reset Nigeria towards accelerated development in all spheres.

” It is also our believe that your swearing in and the 2023 elections are coming up at a time the people of south west need to have a re-focus on winning elections for the purpose of good governance. Therefore, we urge that Lagos and Osun PDP should therefore be partners towards uprooting the menace of APC from our south west region.

” We pray that God will grant you the divine wisdom as you join hands with other patriotic leaders and executives to lead the people of Osun state on the right path of growth in the years ahead to impact positively on the lives of humanity.
