Just In: Ex-Lagos APC Women Leader, Adediran Dies After Brief Illness

 

A former Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos and first female Deputy Speaker of the State’s House of Assembly, Hon. Adetoun Adediran, has died.

 

Adediran who died in the early hours of Wednesday (today) after brief illness at age 51, served between 1999 and 2003 as Deputy Speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly.

 

She represented Surulere Constituency 1 at the House of Assembly  for 4years.

 

After the expiry of her tenure, Adediran was appointed to serve in government parastatals before being appointed as State Women Leader of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and then All Progressives Congress (APC).

 

It was gathered that Adediran fell sick only for two days before her death today.
