Founder and former CEO of microblogging website Twitter, Jack Dorsey, has annouced the launched a new social media platform called “Bluesky.”
NewsBeatng reports that this came one week after the United States’ Elon Musk acquired Twitter for a whopping $44 billion.
Dorsey has concluded plans to launch a new site, with over 30,000 people signing up for Bluesky within two days of the announcement.
According to Sources, Dorsey announced the launch of Bluesky and revealed that the new app will offer “a new foundation for social networking that gives creators independence from platforms, developers the freedom to build, and users a choice in their experience.”
Dorsey said in 2019 that Twitter was developing “an open and decentralized standard for social media.”
