Police have arrested 27 suspects in Sagamu over the violence protests which broke out in the area on Monday morning.
The Ogun state police command spokesperson, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the arrest said, “normalcy has been restored in greater parts of Shagamu now. CP Frank Mba is personally leading police teams and some military men to tackle the situation.
” About 27 suspects had been arrested”.
Union Bank, First Bank and Keystone Bank branches were attacked by protesters early Monday morning.
