Mandate Movement LGA Coordinators Meet Ganiyu Johnson, Visit Osolo Family 

 

The Coordinators of Mandate Movement in Oshodi (Hon. Moyi), Isolo (Hon. Nimota) and Ejigbo LCDA, (Alhaji Kola Ojo), have met with the former House of Representatives member and Apex Mandate Leader of the three councils, Hon. Ganiyu Johnson.

A statement issued by Hon. Damilola Onadeko, the Secretary of Ejigbo Mandate Movement, said the Coordinators met with the former Rep to discuss how they could rejig the political narratives in the three local governments.

” Johnson, a consummate Engineer and philanthropist extraordinaire while meeting with the TMM leadership asserted the importance of expanding the frontier of democratic mechanisms as well as propagating the renewed hope mantra of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR”

“Hon. Ganiu Johnson subsequently led The Mandate Movement(TMM) contingent of TMM Coordinators in Oshodi, Isolo and Ejigbo to pay a condolence visit to the Royal Agbabiaka family, at Isolo, Lagos State.

“This was to commiserate with the family over the death of His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, the influential Scribe of Lagos State Council of Obas and Chiefs.

“While speaking to the family of the bereaved, the distinguished former MHR whose first term in office was credited for infrastructural renaissance and unrivalled humanitarian gestures in Oshodi-Isolo constituency II said he was short of words to condole the Royal family.

“It’s apparently a period that the countenances are worn out and we lack the appropriate words”, said the statement.

“He further expressed his consternation, saying that the departed monarch, to a very large extent, was phenomenal in his many unrivalled strides in Isolo Kingdom and beyond. He will be sorely missed.

“Also speaking on behalf of his colleague Coordinators from the three sisters’ local governmens, Alhaji Kola Ojo, the LGA Coordinator of the Mandate Movement in Ejigbo affirmed the exemplary leadership skills of Osolo by “acknowledging and commending the innumerable successes of the late Osolo”, which according to him, were integrated in traditional, cultural and economic mainstreams in Isolo Kingdom.

“The Mandate Movement leadership in Oshodi, Isolo and Ejigbo Local Governments appreciated the commitment of the late Royal Father which were bringing sustainable ease to the good people of Isolo Kingdom.

“The Mandate Movement (TMM), in Oshodi , Isolo and Ejigbo contingent included former MHR, Hon. Ganiu Johnson, Alhaji Kola Ojo, LGA Coordinator, TMM, Ejigbo)

“Hon. Nimota ( LGA Coordinator, TMM Isolo Hon Moyi (LGA Coordinator, TMM, Oshodi-Isolo) and Hon Lekan Musa from Ejigbo”, the statement concluded.
